Thursday’s Eksotika sees one of Hong Kong’s finest, Taku Hirayama at The Music Room.

Influenced by the club-heavy sound of the early 90s but equally embracing the techno renaissance of the 21st century, he strives to transcend his own take on the genre.

Hailing from south Japan and based in Hong Kong for
over a decade, Taku Hirayama has been behind the decks since 2000, playing at the small dancefloors to outdoor festivals all around Asia, China, Japan and Europe. Mixing diverse style of music, layering inspiration from industrial city and traveling with music, expanding interpretation of dance music with a unique taste and a carefully selected tracks as well as running a party label Junktion in Hong Kong where he brings a lot of artists and hidden talents from across the globe.
